If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law.

- Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials (information or software) on Company's web site for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
- modify or copy the materials;
- use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
- attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Company's web site;

In no event shall Company or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Company's Internet site, even if Company or a Company authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Additional Terms and Conditions
All students must agree to the Terms and Conditions below to enroll in the course:
Hold Harmless. Students shall fully defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Newborn Care Training Academy for any and all claims, lawsuits, demands, causes of action, liability, loss, damage, and/or injury, of any kind whatsoever. This indemnification applies to and includes, without limitation, the payment of all penalties, fines, judgments, awards, decrees, attorney’s fees, and related costs or expenses, and any reimbursement to the Newborn Care Training for all legal fees, expenses, and costs incurred by it. The Newborn Care Training Academy has the right to refuse any student and will reimburse any payment made to the Newborn Care Training Academy.
While there are no educational prerequisites for participation, the Newborn Care Training Academy requires all participants to be at least 18 years of age and provide a valid state or federal means of identification. Membership and any certificates obtained through the Newborn Care Training Academy are to be deemed invalid if it is found that participants fraudulently registered or provided false identification.
It is the student’s duty to stay up to date with current American Academy of Pediatrics recommended care practices and the Newborn Care Training Academy is not held responsible for any errors or neglect on the caregiver’s part to keep up date on the latest industry recommendations.
All training materials provided, including but not limited to, manuals, presentations, worksheets, quizzes, syllabi, handouts, and final exam, are the sole property of the Newborn Care Training Academy. Use of any of these materials without prior written consent from the Newborn Care Training Academy is strictly prohibited. No materials provided by the Newborn Care Training Academy may be used to develop any curriculum, training course, or workshop without the written consent of the Newborn Care Training Academy. No materials provided by or purchased from the Newborn Care Training Academy may be distributed or used to develop any curriculum, training course, or workshop without the written consent of the Newborn Care Training Academy. Any violations of this agreement will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Online students shall have access to online curriculum for the term of six months. After this term has been completed, their account and all materials shall be deleted.
The Newborn Care Training Academy is not responsible for any person’s personal computer issues that may prevent a student from accessing class materials. If a student cannot access their materials, they should clear their cache and history, update their browser or use a different browser, or use a different computer. If the Newborn Care Training Academy's website is down for any reason, the Newborn Care Training Academy's IT staff will work diligently to rectify the problem immediately. Extensions will be given at the sole discretion of the Newborn Care Training Academy. Students who reside outside of the United States will receive a PDF manual and certificate of completion. Hard copy manuals and certificates may be purchased, however, international students will be required to pay for shipping expenses.
All student’s personal information (name, date of birth, financial records) will remain confidential in accordance to laws applicable. Students however may appear in social media photos that are taken during the course.
No refunds or fund transfers will be issued. Refunds will not be issued in the event of a personal or family emergency, natural disaster, inclement weather, scheduling conflict, or any other life occurrences within or outside the control of the student. In the event a student is unable to attend the in-person training they registered for, upon approval and under the discretion of the Newborn Care Training Academy, payments received may be applied as credit toward a Newborn Care Specialist Workshop within 1 year of the initial deposit date. If student does not give a two week notice that they will not be attending the class they registered for, the student is ineligible to transfer their payment and/or deposit to another class. If student does not choose to apply credit from past payments towards a future training event or online course, the student agrees to forfeit their payment and hold blameless the Newborn Care Training Academy and its staff for any loss incurred by the student as a result. Cancellation of training events is at the sole discretion of the Newborn Care Training Academy. If the Newborn Care Training Academy cancels a training event due to lack of interest, each student will be issued a refund, in full, for the cancelled event. In lieu of a refund, students may choose to apply their refund as credit towards a future training event or online course but must contact the Newborn Care Training Academy within 24 hours of the cancellation of the training event.
Partial attendance. Should a student miss any portion of the in person training, they will be required to make up the missed sections online. There will be a $50 online enrollment fee for students taking any portion of the online course as a makeup.
Re-testing fee. Should a student fail their test after the first attempt, there is a $25 re-testing feed. Should a student fail their test after the second attempt, they are required to re-take the course.
By attending an in-person event, you grant permission to the Newborn Care Training Academy to use any photographs taken for their social media, Internet, or promotional material. Your name will not be not being identified with any photos taken.
