Diving into the science and studies about breastmilk handling and storage.
In this workshop, we are going to dive deep into storage guidelines and proper handling of breastmilk. We will learn how milk changes during the storage process, what nutrients are lost, how to maximize the preservation of nutrients, storage time and allowances and best practices for handling breastmilk.

With over 10 years of serving families, and a passion for newborns and little ones, Brittany has been considered to be an invaluable resource to those who utilize her services. Her desire to enable parents to make informed decisions concerning the growth and development of their children has permitted her to apply and share her extensive knowledge that has been gathered over the course of a decade.
Brittany is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and a former Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST). She resides in beautiful Alexandria, Virginia with her husband and daughter.
